We’re moving to Drury Street!
Thanks to your incredible support, Republic of Jiu Jitsu has secured a brand-new home on Drury Street. From our first Invitational to the seminars, donations, ticket sales, and every share or word of encouragement, the community has rallied behind us in an amazing way. Together, you’ve helped raise over €33,000, funding mats, wall padding, and the start of our new chapter. The GoFundMe is still open, and every bit of support helps us get fully set up. From all of us — thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you to the mats in our new home.
You can find the donation link here.
Republic of Jiu Jitsu
The first thing I want to say is you’re very welcome to the Republic of Jiu-Jitsu (ROJ). Ireland welcomed me into its arms from Brazil in 2008 and it’s here in Dublin that I was able to achieve my dream of opening a martial arts academy with a difference.
So, what’s the difference? Republic of Jiu-Jitsu isn’t just a place to train, it’s a community where we build one another up through martial arts training.
Jiu-Jitsu focuses on the principle that smaller, weaker people have the power to successfully defend themselves against bigger, stronger adversaries by using leverage and proper technique.
Learning how to use techniques that don’t rely on size or strength but rather skill and speed not only improves your physical condition, it boosts your concentration, provides a healthy way to release stress and builds your self-confidence.
So, no matter what age, shape or size you are, you are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome here from the Republic of Jiu-Jitsu community.
Join our growing community, drop in or take a look at our class schedule .
Obrigado
